Yasmin Burrell is an Attorney for the Litigation Division at the Merritt & Merritt Law Firm. Attorney Burrell handles a wide range of personal injury matters including, but not limited to, auto injuries, wrongful death, Motion hearings, and Trial.

Yasmin, a New Orleans, Louisiana native, worked in business law, real estate acquisition, family law, and defense litigation before her interest in personal injury called her to make a change and join The Merritt & Merritt Law Firm. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern Mississippi and then earned her Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law.

Yasmin’s interests and career have always centered around her passion for helping clients reach a favorable resolution by advocating on their behalf. Yasmin enjoys community service activities in her free time, which include helping women through her nonprofit organization and serving alongside her Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority sisters. In addition, she enjoys cooking delicious meals, cheering on the New Orleans Saints, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Yasmin is licensed to practice in Georgia’s lower courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Northern & Middle District Courts of Georgia.
